The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 requires identification and control of asbestos in premises, Manestream’s team of surveyors are able to undertake the required asbestos inspections in accordance with standard methods. All our surveyors hold the pre-requisite BOHS P402 qualification and surpass the six-months experience requirement. An explicit duty to manage risks from asbestos in premises can be in-part fulfilled through regular re-inspections.With a fleet of commercial vehicles and circa 25 technical staff and 30 Surveyors which makes Manestream able to offer its asbestos inspection services nationwide from offices based in Middlesex and Cwmbran. Working for both the private and public sector we have experience of inspecting a diverse range of built environments including academic, commercial, residential, nuclear, utilities and off-shore properties. Surveyors receive additional training for hazards that interface with activities.
Manestream has its own in-house developed software (EMP) for recording data relating to the identification, management and control of asbestos containing materials. Recently the programme has been further developed to meet the requirements of ever-changing legislation and customer needs. Designed to record data collated during any type of asbestos inspection EMP is enhanced with features and functionality aimed to make asbestos management responsibilities in an organization quicker, simpler and more efficient. Data stored on the database is made available to clients across the Internet.
