In 2006 the Regulatory Reform Order 2005 came into effect from the 1st October 2006, and instructs that all employees should undergo Fire Safety. Staff should undergo training in the use of Fire Extinguishers at least annually and training in all details of the maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lighting and Fire Drills etc.
