CCTV Surveying
By means of a small diameter closed circuit TV camera, the interior drainage pipework, chimneys and ductwork can be surveyed.
Utilising observation sheets and DVD recordings of the survey, we can determine EXACTLY where the fault lies and the nature of the problem. Using specialised CCTV drainage survey equipment, we will with minimum disruption, save you time as well as cutting our clients costs over the conventional fault-finding methods.
Our CCTV drainage survey doesn't stop on site either - following a site visit from one of our survey teams trained to OS19X Standards we will provide a comprehensive written report showing the findings of the survey We will also provide a DVD recording of the survey and are able to provide technical advice for solutions to any problems found.
Why Do Drains Block?
General use and abuse to drains causing clogging and general build up of all types of debris and will then require cleaning at some point. Most common types of waste include, scale, silt, grease and foreign objects will always accumulate and usually it's only a matter of time before the pipe's capacity and flow is reduced or obstructed to create conditions known as blockages.
Structural Defects caused by ground movement, leakage, subsidence, tree root infiltration and corrosion. These problems can also lead to reduced or obstructed flow which will result in possibly a serious blockage. These structural defects can be located via Manestream's CCTV Drainage Inspections.
